Chinese as a first language

Ellie D is learning how to talk.  She is making all sorts of new sounds with her tongue and mouth, however it sounds like Chinese more than anything.  She really just starts busting out in gobbledigook type conversation with such a straight face you just wish you knew what she was talking about.  It is one of the many things that she is doing these days.  Some other highlights include:

--pretending to sneeze after either Mike or I do.  It is quite hilarious.
--shrieking at the top of her lungs at any given second, or in absolute protest of anything we want her to do that she doesn't want to
--throwing her blocks back in their bag when putting her toys away with an enthusiastic "bam!' like Emeril used to do.  Thank Daddy for that one.
--walking around beating her belly with it all puffed out saying "belly"

Growl!  This is Ellie saying growl like a bear.  She knows most animals but the cutest is definitely the chicken when she starts saying "bock bock bock"  (and I realize Christmas is over but she still fits the PJs)
On Saturday her music class had a production at the Children's Hospital that we went to.  Ellie is tapping her legs to the call song.
In music class they bring toys to share.  These were this little boy's toys in his bookbag which Ellie felt comfortable just rooting through and taking at will.  The mother was happy to oblige, the little boy, not so much.

Ellie and Daddy clapping to some songs.  I am making it look good with the pics.  She mostly roamed around and kept walking outside the room, paying little attention to what was going on.

Grammy getting one last kiss in before leaving.  This child was not loved at all when her parents were away.

Ha, Ellie goes down the stairs on her front, backwards.  This is where her skirt ended up at the bottom of the stairs.
