Reality check

For all of you out there who laughed at me for thinking I toilet trained my daughter in one day, this one is for you.  Clearly I didn't actually think she was toilet trained when I wrote that, and there has been a serious reality check this week.  Primarily that while she will go to the potty when we take her every hour, she really doesn't understand the concept of holding her urine when she has to pee.  Nor does she understand that she isn't supposed to go at night.  After 3 nights of washing the sheets and feeling badly about not know whether or not she had been lying in her pee all night, I finally acquiesced and put her back in a diaper at night.  Boy did I sleep better.
