Springtime fun

We finally got to visit The Swanns and their new bundle of joy, Chelsea!  Ellie didn't have school on Friday so we left a little early on Friday and managed to make it down there in great time.  Chelsea was so tiny, and it was such a shock to Mike and I to realize how big Ellie has become.  In fact, it seemed so downright impossible to remember her at that age.  Ellie was amazing around the baby too.  She would get super quiet, with big eyes and come over to Chelsea with such intention.  We capped the weekend off with breakfast with the Chatignys on our way out of town and then Sunday family dinner with the Reynolds.
Baby Chelsea!

Don't you just love her receding hair line!  Andrew is a good daddy.

Ellie likes my sunglasses.  I swear she put these on herself.

We were burping Chelsea.  She gets a little gassy.  Ellie jumped right in.  Overall she wasn't that possessive over me, although at one point I did have Chelsea in the Bjorn and Ellie on one hip.  Practice, right?!?

So big!

We have decided the enclosed patio is the way to go with Ellie out to dinner.  She holds the entire patio in captive audience and subsequently gets free reign to climb up on all the free chairs at the tables.

Hmm, Chelsea didn't seem to make it into the photo.  But yeah for a successful family dinner out with two kids!  It was just great, really.  Perfect weather and kids behaved so well.

Ellie was very interested in Chelsea

She is such a daddy's girl.
All the kids loved the swings at the Chatigny house!  I am so jealous of the backyard swingset.
