Shade Tree Trot

Mike and I participated in our first 5K together.  He claimed he was going to run it in 8 min flat.  I teased him that I was going to run circles around him and taunt him the whole time.  I am not sure Mike loved the event, but he did a great job, finishing just under 25 min.  It also happened to be tough running weather, at over 70 degrees and very humid.  But it was for charity and was lots of fun.  Maybe next time I will run independently to compete, but this time, I enjoyed cheering my husband on and running at the same time. (translate, he pretty much wanted to kill me by the end of the race)
