Five years of bliss

This past weekend was Mike and I's 5 year anniversary.  Hard to believe it's been that long...or that short!  Considering we've owned and sold a house, lived in 3 different places, had 2 children, 2 cats, I finished residency and fellowship and started my first job, Mike has gotten a graduate degree, we've traveled to Europe twice, Belize once and all over the U.S. Plus many, many other things.  Mostly we've grown together as friends, partners and parents.

We couldn't be happier (or probably more sleep deprived).  We celebrated by spending a night in the city, sans children thanks to the babysitting gift from Pam and Lisa D.  It was almost 24 hrs alone and it was fantastic.  There was a stroll along the Brooklyn Bridge, a mad dash to Century 21 for a pair of shoes for Mike since he forgot his and realized at the last minute, a tasting menu at Corton with a quick drink after at Weather House before we retired for the night in our hotel room.  The next morning was brunch at Locanda Verde before jetting back to Eastchester for Ellie D's birthday party. Sadly we didn't get our yearly anniversary photo, but this one is definitely burned in memory.

It was definitely worth all the pumping and dumping.
