Now that Ellie is getting older, her vocabulary and speech are becoming very well developed. She is also very smart and intuitive and is saying some pretty funny things.
Of recent note, she likes to ask a question, and then after several "whys" when she is satisfied with your answers, she'll say, "that's cool".
This afternoon after I got home from work and was sitting in my beauty parlor spot on the floor (in scrubs), she pointed to a pair of clean scrubs in the laundry basket next to me and said "Mommy wears this every day?" Yup. I will take my smurf pajamas anyday! It is one of the luxuries of being a surgeon (one of the very FEW luxuries).
