I actually did see a play (or was it a musical) off Broadway once with this title. It was pretty good, except for the fact that I was on a 3rd date and was pretty freaked out at this point. The poor guy was really just trying to impress me but went waaaaay over the top and it sent me home in an absolute mad rush at about 11:00 pm (which is really early for NYC standards). Anyways, we have been trying to get Ellie to string a couple of words together such as 'cup, please' or 'more milk' but she hasn't quite gotten it. Although all on her own, she has decided that 'love you' is to be immediately followed with 'bye'. So it's 'love you, bye.' She actually started saying it in her crib when I was putting her down, but now it is pretty much anytime.
Other than that, not too much to report. It has gotten hot down here, although the heat wave from a couple of weeks ago did finally abate. It was in the high 90's for the first couple of weeks of June and that was not cool with me. There have been lots of incredulous thunderstorms as well. Makes it hard sometimes on the weekend because it will be torrential downpour and then 90 degrees, which equals outdoor sauna.
Amazingly a year has gone by. Another post on my reflections on that to come.

| Our mini Father's day celebration. Ellie wrote out her own card this year. |
 |
| And picked out her own gift. Really, she did pick this up one day in a store on her own. It says daddy's little girl if you can't see it. |

| 'Ellie' also got him a Syracuse visor for his new golf hobby. Isn't she so thoughtful? |
