I was on call over Labor Day and so we stayed in the city. They had just opened up this new carousel that was supposed to be super fancy and in the design of a conch shell down by Battery Park. We had never been to Staten Island and decided to head down and do the carousel and take the Staten Island Ferry over, you know, because. I'm fairly positive we got on the ferry, took it over, and came back. It was a great view of the Statue of Liberty, and the ferry ride was fine. The carousel was an interesting experience. The line wasn't super long, but the carousel itself was fairly small and only a very few of the seashells moved, and they were letting people wait to get on the moving ones and then not having anyone get on the non-moving ones and so the line essentially didn't move. This didn't work out so well for super efficient Mike and Beth and the kids were fading. We eventually got on though...

| It's crazy how much bigger she is now. She still likes to wear this dress and it's basically a shirt on her. She shrill seems so small, but this is definitely a reality check. |
