Mommy moments

There are always some winning mommy moments and some not-so-winning mommy moments.  Fortunately recently there have more winning than not. 

Winning momemnts:
--Paying a lot of money for a music class for Ellie but then having her dance and sing at home with you when you  play the cd the class gave you.  (plus it is quite a work out to jump around like an idiot trying to get her entertained)

--Doing the sign language motion for "please" about a thousand times and finally having her do it when you ask "can you say please?"

--Having her ask for more broccoli when she has already finished the large portion of broccoli and tofu that you gave her for dinner.

--Seeing her walk towards the bathroom when you tell her that it is time to wash your hands for dinner.

Not-so-winning moments
--When you ask her at daycare if she is going to come and give you a kiss good bye and she walks straight over to Mr. Willis and motions for him to pick her up.

--Thinking you are reaching for her pacifier in the crib in the dark only to realize that you  have grabbed a pile of vomit, then turning on the light to find she has dried puke all over her and her crib.  (and thanking your lucky stars she didn't choke)

Not much else new to report from our end.  Just another day in the life!  Although it has been freezing here in Nashville and I feel like I am living in Boston.
